Best VR Games Announced in 2020
The year 2020 has been pretty much an absolute disaster in almost every sense except for when it comes to the VR world, there’s been some fantastic things that have happened this year in the world of VR, some amazing launches such as Half-life Alyx and Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners. This year is not over and there is a whole lot to look forward to when it comes to VR gaming. Let us talk about some of these VR games that have not been released yet.
1. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020
First up we have Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and these games are in no specific order we’re just throwing them out there, but this game looks absolutely fantastic absolutely gorgeous it is launching this fall of 2020. There’s going to be ultra-realistic environments, looking forward to just flying over places that we always wanted to see and just literally exploring, this is almost like Google Earth inside of an airplane.
2. Medal of Honor Above and Beyond
Medal of Honor Above and Beyond from Respawn Entertainment, we were teased about this game for a long time and we finally got the information about this last year, this is going to take place in Europe during World War 2. This should be a fantastic game coming from Respawn Entertainment, they have a big reputation. This is going to be exclusive to the Oculus Rift platform.
3. Project Cars 3
It’s going to have a 24 hour day and night cycle, if you play any last ones one and two in VR it looks absolutely gorgeous and I suspect this game is going to be on an even higher level so make sure you get your GPUs upgraded this year.
4. Star Wars Squadrons
Star Wars Squadrons is going to be absolutely incredible, we’re going to get to experience first-person multiplayer dog fights in legendary Star Fighters, such as the S-Wing and Tie Fighter, this game is going to be absolutely insane and it’s supposed to come out October 2nd of this year. This is going to do huge things for the VR community this is going to help VR grow dramatically, anything with the Star Wars names like this gets more people into VR, I mean just from the trailer it just looks absolutely fantastic.
5. Lone Echo 2
Lone Echo is an absolute staple in the VR gaming community, people just absolutely loved the first one and I’m sure the second one is going to be even better this game was supposed to launch earlier this year, it has been delayed hopefully we still get it this year. It is going to be an Oculus exclusive as most of you already know, but just like the first one, it’s going to be playable through Revive so no worries.
6. Solaris Offworld Combat
Solaris Offworld Combat, this is done by the First Contact Entertainment guys, the same people that did Firewall Zero hour on PSVR, a fantastic first-person shooter and popular game on that platform. This is going to be a multiplayer first-person shooter game, it’s built from the ground up for VR, it’s coming to the Quest and the Rift and later in the year, it’s going to be coming out on PSVR.
